We all know how to put on our best “cheese” smile and look into the camera lens. But creating an emotive portrait experience takes more than just smiling and posing.
Our photographers mix traditional posing principles with unposed directing to create portraits that show you and your family’s true personality. We may ask you to do something a bit silly, or act out something ridiculous, or tell your loved one a secret, or share a memory with your child; the best way to create portraits that look like candid moments is to orchestrate candid moments!
We tailor each session to your tastes, needs, and personality. Instead of cycling people through a manufactured setting, we want to photograph you in an environment that is meaningful to you and the people you care about.

About two weeks after your session, you’ll be notified that your images are ready for your online reveal session. You can schedule your reveal for whatever time is most convenient for you. We recommend getting the whole family together! Even if you all live in different locations, you can coordinate a time for everyone to be at their computer or tablet and you’ll receive an email with a link to your online gallery.
