17 Mar A Surprise Engagement in Downtown Fort Myers at the Veranda Restaurant
We have a very special Fort Myers surprise engagement story on the blog today. We have done many of these surprise engagement photography sessions, everywhere from the beach to resorts, and this one took place in the lovely river district in Downtown Fort Myers.
Our studio was contacted by Evelyn, to schedule a surprise engagement photo shoot for her cousin Jamey. Jamey wanted to propose to his girlfriend at The Veranda, which is a beautiful restaurant in downtown Fort Myers. This is where the couple went for their first date. Jamey also wanted both families to be there so they could share in the joy.
Our Fort Myers photographer arrived early, met with the family to go over the details and then waited behind a building in the courtyard. As soon as the happy couple headed towards the courtyard fountain, Jamey went down on one knee and asked Dianna to marry him! Our photographer followed the couple inside and upstairs to their “private table” for a few more photos and much to Dianna’s surprise, both families were waiting to congratulate them.
We wish the happy couple all the best as they start planning their Fort Myers wedding!
